The sheer power of Samsung’s Galaxy S24 flagship phones is impressive, and they’ve been a big win for the company and consumers who are enjoying their new features. The Galaxy S24 series offers improvements over its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 series, including better batteries, brighter screens, higher-quality cameras and all-around better specs that are worth checking out. Most impressively, these phones are among the first to include generative AI capability directly in the device itself. That means you’ll be able to use generative AI services anywhere, even when the device is offline. The phones are powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which means performance for on-device AI should be both fast and reliable.

How much does the Galaxy S24 cost?
The three models of the Galaxy S24 are available in various storage configurations. US pricing for each model is as follows:
- Samsung Galaxy S24 price: $860
- Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus price: $1,000
- Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra price: $1,420
That puts the Ultra at $220 more expensive than the S23 Ultra was at launch but it has a titanium frame this time around, which may account for the extra cost.
In terms of configuration upgrades, the S24 remains the same as its predecessor with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. The S24 Plus has 12GB of RAM, which is up from 8GB in the S23 Plus, and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. The Ultra also sports an upgraded 12GB of RAM and is available with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage.

What colors does the Galaxy S24 come in?
The Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus come in yellow, violet, gray and black at retailers. If you order directly from Samsung, you will also be able to order green, blue and orange hues.
Best Galaxy S24 deals
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is an absolutely incredible phone, which our reviewer described as being “a solid upgrade for those coming from an older Samsung phone” but criticized for being too expensive. With $200 off, it’s a lot more attractive. It’s filled to the brim with amazing features, including some fun AI bits, and it also has a lovely large screen for being productive and for watching shows and films. Right now you can also save $150 on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Bluetooth with the purchase of an S24-series phone on Amazon.
Of the three S24 models, the Galaxy S24 Plus is one of our favorites. Our reviewer gave it a 9.0 rating, thanks to its amazing battery life and wealth of useful features. One of our only problems with it was the price, but with a $150 reduction, that’s a lot less of an issue. Right now you can also save $150 on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Bluetooth with the purchase of an S24-series phone on Amazon.
If you order directly from Samsung, you’ll get access to seven different color options, including three exclusive-to-Samsung shades. As for savings, you can expect to get up to $535 off the Galaxy S24, up to $600 off the S24 Plus and up to $750 off the S24 Ultra, with the trade-in of an eligible device. The discount comes in the form of bill credits.
For a limited time, you can score a Galaxy Ultra S24 512GB model for only $1,300, a discount of $120.
You can currently save up to $250 on Samsung Galaxy S24 series phones at Best Buy. You can also get a discount when trading in an old device, allowing you to save a fair amount off a new device.
Samsung fans can order the S24 series from AT&T and get an impressive trade-in deal. Both new and existing customers with an unlimited plan can trade in a phone with a value of $95 or higher and get up to $1,000 in bill credits. If the phone is valued at $35 or higher, you can get up to $800 in bill credits with an eligible trade-in.
Customers might also be able to score a pair of Galaxy Buds FE earbuds for free with an eligible purchase. This offer lasts until June 13.
Like AT&T, Verizon is offering great deals on the new S24 series. New and existing customers with eligible Verizon Unlimited Ultimate plans can trade in any model Samsung phone in any condition and get a credit of up to $800 on either the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus or the S24 Ultra.
Verizon is also offering up to $170 off select Galaxy Watches or up to $550 off a Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G tablet with your purchase, though you will need new lines for those devices. If you buy a Galaxy S24+, you can get YouTube Premium for $10 per month with myPlan for a limited time.
T-Mobile is offering both new and existing customers a decent deal on any of the S24 series phones. You can get up to $800 off the S24 lineup with an eligible device trade-in if you’re on the Go5G Plus or Go5G Next plans. You can also get up to $800 off with a trade-in on Go5G Next. That scores you the Galaxy S24 for free.
You can add a line on either of those plans to get $800 off if you’re looking for a deal with no trade-in required. That brings the S24 price to nil, scoring you one for free. Other qualifying plans can get up to $300 in savings.
If you’re looking to grab a deal from Xfinity, you can trade in another mobile gadget and save yourself up to $500 on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra until June 30. This is a great offer and a good chance to hold on to some of your money.
If you grab your S24 via Spectrum, you can save as much as $300 when you trade in an eligible device and activate your new phone on an eligible plan. The discount will be applied to the S24 device you’re buying in full if you’re paying upfront or the credit will be split across your payment plan if the phone is financed.
Google Fi is offering discounts on all S24 series phones when you switch to one of their phone plans. The S24 Ultra gets the biggest discounts, with up to $500 back with the purchase of an Unlimited Plus Plan, $400 back with a Flexible plan or $250 off with other Fi plans. This discount appears as bill credits for 24 months.
Prefer an S24 or S24 Plus? You can still get up to $400 back with select Fi plans.
Mint Mobile is offering a $100 discount on any phone purchase, plus when you sign up for six months of service, you get six more months free. Currently, there are no Samsung S24 deals.
