The Jets landed a record number of prime-time games over the first three months of the 2024 season because the appeal of four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers was too great to ignore, the NFL said Thursday.
Aaron Rodgers' comeback season will open in prime time, as the New York Jets will travel to the San Francisco 49ers to face the defending NFC champions Sept. 9 on ESPN's "Monday Night Football."
The Jets agreed to terms Tuesday with free agent wide receiver Mike Williams. The one-year deal is worth up to $15 million, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Zach Wilson, who was demoted as the Jets' starting quarterback Monday, said he has "come a long way" in his second season but also understands "if you're not scoring touchdowns, it doesn't matter."
Jets coach Robert Saleh and key veteran leaders said Wednesday they had no problem with injured quarterback Aaron Rodgers calling out the team for its sideline squabbles.
