These wheels are a drop in replacement for most computer chair casters. That includes most gaming chairs and office chairs as long as they accept a stem size of 7/16″ x 7/8″, although that excludes Ikea chairs (Ikea always has unusual sizing for their furniture). These are solidly built wheels that can support up to 650lbs of weight. They’re made of industrial-grade steel with ball bearings and durable polyurethane (rubber-like) tread. They glide on the floor much more quietly than standard casters and with a lot less effort. They are a huge upgrade if you have hard floors; the elastic rubber-like polyurethane is much less scratch-prone than the hard plastic caster wheels that most chairs come with, so you won’t need to put a protective mat on the ground. On carpet, these wheels are fine, but there’s less incentive to swap your old casters.
I own this exact brand of casters. I’ve installed them on my Secretlab gaming chair and my Herman Miller Aeron and Steelcase Think chairs, and they’re compatible with all of them. They’ve also stood the test of time. I bought my first set back in 2020 and they’ve seen daily use since. They still look and work like new. Since these wheels are roughly 3 inches in diameter, they do raise your chair up a little. You will also have to get used to the fact that even a slight push of your chair will have these gliding for quite a distance. Without a doubt they are better than the original casters that came with any of these chairs. Secretlab sells a pack of five for $49. These cost 40% less and I’m sure they are just as good.
