SPOILER ALERT: This article contains spoilers for the Season 2 finale of “The Traitors,” now streaming on Peacock.

Just like the entire season, “The Traitors” Season 2 finale was jam-packed with drama up until the very end.

After banishing the final traitor, plus two innocent faithfuls, “The Challenge” pals CT Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella split the final jackpot of over $200,000.

“Below Deck” star Kate Chastain was the last remaining traitor after “Real Housewives of Atlanta” queen Phaedra Parks was banished in last week’s penultimate episode. However, Kate drew a lot of attention to herself at last week’s roundtable after she piled on Phaedra and called her “more selfish than skillful.”

In her first night as a solo traitor, Kate murdered “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alumni Sheree Whitfield, but the pressure was already high from the remaining faithfuls: “Shahs of Sunset” star MJ Javid, “Survivor” double winner Sandra Diaz-Twine, CT and Trishelle. In a last ditch effort, Kate tried to throw some suspicion on Sandra early on in the finale — and it nearly worked.

The group added an extra $50,000 during their last challenge to bring their grand total to $208,100. At the final roundtable, Kate was able to convince the remaining cast members that Sandra was actually the traitor, not her.

Her 11th-hour scheme worked: MJ, CT and Trishelle joined her in voting for Sandra, who pleaded that Kate was the real traitor. It seemed like Kate would walk away with all the money, but then host Alan Cumming revealed one final twist: The four remaining cast members would each vote to end the game or banish one more person.

At a midnight ceremony, MJ, CT, Trishelle and Kate assembled for one final vote. Kate was the only person to vote to end the game, and the other three chose to undergo one last banishment. Unsurprisingly, all three faithfuls voted to eliminate Kate — who wrote down Trishelle in a failed attempt at a traitor victory. Kate was eliminated and revealed as the last traitor, but the game wasn’t over just yet.

CT, Trishelle and MJ voted once more to either end the game or banish one more person. In a huge twist, CT and Trishelle chose for one more banishment, and the game continued. It seemed like the two “Challenge” frenemies might join together to split the grand total, but the first banishment round ended in a stalemate: MJ voted for Trishelle, Trishelle voted for CT, and CT voted for MJ.

Each person pleaded for their life one more time, but the turning point came when CT apologized to his longtime friend Trishelle for passing her over during a previous ceremony when he saved U.K. politician and ally John Bercow. That shifted the final final vote, with CT and Trishelle both voting for MJ.

In a heartfelt ending, the two “Challenge” stars hugged it out at the end, each winning $104,050 (not counting whatever taxes Scottish game shows take out).
