The Simpsons: JAKKS Pacific Reveals New Line of Action Figures and Collectibles

The Simpsons franchise has been around for 35 years now, and there have been quite a few toys and collectibles inspired by everyone’s favorite animated sitcom family. Now the franchise has found a new home with JAKKS Pacific. The company revealed what to expect from their new The Simpsons line at WonderCon today, including action figures and other collectibles inspired by some of the series’ most memorable episodes.

The new Simpsons line will focus on a variety of different formats and figure scales, but JAKKS Pacific is kicking things off with a series of articulated 2.5-inch scale figures. While smaller than the Simpsons figures offered in the past from companies like Playmates, NECA and Super7, the emphasis this time is on pairing the figures with playsets of iconic Springfield buildings. Among the company’s first releases are a box set featuring the entire Simpson clan (pets included) and a set that pairs a Homer figure with the house at 742 Evergreen Terrace. The house can be rotated to feature a diorama of the Simpson family living room setup.

JAKKS Pacific will also be releasing larger prop replicas inspired by specific episodes and gags. That includes a talking Krusty doll based on “Treehouse of Horror III.” The doll can be switched between good and evil modes and features 14 sound effects. Also up for grabs is a replica of the telephone from Moe’s Tavern, which features clips of more than ten of Bart’s prank phone calls (fingers crossed that includes Bart’s call to Inga-Bar Beerman’s from “Lost Verizon”).

Finally, Simpsons collectors can look forward to an advent calendar set that includes 24 miniature, 1.5-inch scale figurines tucked away in holiday-themed packaging.

All of these newly revealed Simpsons collectibles will be released in Fall 2024. The 2.5-inch Figure Multi-Pack and Living Room Diorama Set are priced at $19.99 each, while the Talking Krusty Doll, Moe’s Prank Phone and The Simpsons Advent Calendar are priced at $39.99 each.
