IGN will be the official media and streaming partner of gamescom latam – an event celebrating all the best games from Latin America and around the world.
The event will take place live from São Paulo Brazil, from June 26-30. IGN will be streaming the opening night countdown show on June 26, along with the entire show on June 28 and June 29. Fans can catch a special episode of The Daily Fix, along with seeing your favorite hosts across IGN platforms live from Brazil.
Some of the biggest names in video games will be at the event including Bandai Namco, Epic Games, Atari, Raw Fury, and more. Additionally, Nintendo, SEGA, Warner Bros. Games, Square Enix, Wargaming, Ubisoft, Roblox, Niantic, CipSoft, TecToy, Akupara, and many more will be there to join in the fun.
gamescom latam builds on the well-established BIG festival, whose 2023 edition saw 90 exhibitors, over 50,000 attendees, and more than 1,700 professionals gather in one place for a truly special experience.
Alongside exciting reveals, there will be a ton of games to play, meet & greets with creators, panels, cosplay, eSports tournaments, and much more.
Much like gamescom in Germany, gamescom latam will have an opening show that will take place on June 26 and will be hosted by Tiago Leifert. Fans can expect everything from AAA game announcements to indie game reveals, and there will also be exclusive interviews from some of the teams behind the biggest games of the show.
Speakers at the event will include keynote speaker David Alpert, producer of The Walking Dead and CEO of Skybound Entertainment, Chance Glasco, creator of Call of Duty, Pawel Sasko, associate game director at CD Projekt Red, Mike Foster, senior globe account manager at Sony, and Tim Morton, CEO of Frost Giant.
