Imaginary Streaming Release Date

Imaginary will eventually be released on Starz, followed by Peacock, per distributor Lionsgate’s streaming arrangements.

Lionsgate has yet to announce a streaming release date for Imaginary, though it fairly consistently releases its movies on Starz 180 days after their theatrical debuts. Should Lionsgate follow suit here, Imaginary would hit Starz around September 4.

What Is Imaginary About?

Imaginary is an original horror movie from Blumhouse. Here’s the official synopsis:

When Jessica moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter Alice develops an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey she finds in the basement. Alice starts playing games with Chauncey that begin playful and become increasingly sinister.

As Alice’s behavior becomes more and more concerning, Jessica intervenes only to realize Chauncey is much more than the stuffed toy bear she believed him to be.
