EST N8 Hires Chatsuree Sripamorn for Asian Sales Role Ahead of FilMart Debut

EST N8, the film and TV sales venture formed by U.S.-based EST and Thailand’s N8 company, has hired Chatsuree ‘Chat’ Sripamorn for an Asian sales roles. Reporting to Tenten Wei, she will represent the company at next week’s FilMart.

Sripamorn has previously worked at three of the top Thai entertainment companies Mono Next, GMM Studios and Rose Studio over a span of ten years.

Initially, she served as a content licensing professional at Mono Next, selling Thai films for international theatrical and platform releases. Later, she joined GMM Studios International in a business development role, creating premium original content in both scripted and unscripted formats for leading global streaming platforms. These included the Netflix-acquired series “Girl from Nowhere” and “The Stranded.”

Her most recent role was in content licensing & partnerships at Rose Studio, part of the stock market-listed RS Group. There she was involved in development of original content and series, including the company’s inaugural Boy Love-themed series “Bake Me Please” from 2023.

Launched only in 2022, by Jaeson Ma and Eric Tu, EST Studios represents Asian content across multiple genres and seeks an annual slate of 15 projects that it can finance, produce and represent. It recently added Korean sci-fi thriller “30 Minutes,” produced by ‘Tiger’ Yeongseop Kim, former head of SBS TV; and drama film “Tape,” which is a Cantonese remake of the Richard Linklater film of the same title. It also handles the LGBTQ+ romance drama “ASOG,” which premiered at Tribeca.

N8 was founded by Kris Eiamsakulrat and Rachel Wu. Last year it formed a partnership with leading Thai studio GDH559, to co-produce a slate of Thai thriller and horror films aimed at the global audience.
