President Biden will deliver a live, virtual keynote address from the White House to the National Action Network’s (NAN) 2024 Convention in New York City Friday afternoon.
Founded by Rev. Al Sharpton, NAN works on racial justice and civil rights issues, dedicated to following the vision of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
Polling has suggested a decline in support for Biden among Black voters overall. Endorsement by leaders within Black and other communities of color could make a crucial difference in Biden’s reelection bid.
The president is scheduled to speak at 2:45 p.m. EDT.
