Whether you’re a design pro or a student, it’s no secret that Apple makes some of the best laptops on the market. Of course, they tend to be a bit more expensive than their PC counterparts, they’re perfect for anyone looking for a portable powerhouse. Luckily, there are some solid deals right now, both in terms of direct discounts and trade-in value, so it’s worth grabbing one of those. While there aren’t price breaks on every MacBook, we update this page regularly, so check back for new deals. And amazingly, there are discounts on some of Apple’s latest and greatest models.

US pricing for Apple MacBooks

While Amazon and B&H Photo have the best prices at the moment, one benefit to paying full price and buying from Apple is that you can customize the machine, adding more RAM or a higher-capacity solid-state drive. The models sold by Amazon and other retailers have fixed configurations.

Want to go the refurbished route? You can find refurbished MacBooks on Apple’s Certified Refurbished Mac page. Refurb inventory changes rapidly, so you may not always see the latest MacBook Air or Pro. However, it’s worth keeping an eye out because you can lock in substantial savings.

It’s also worth noting that the Apple Store offers students an educational discount, which can trim hundreds of dollars from the price of a new laptop or tablet.
