Biden’s Interview With Stephanopoulos Could Be Over in Just 15 Minutes

ABC announced Wednesday night that parts of the taped interview would air first on Friday’s edition of World News Tonight and be followed by an 8 p.m. primetime special, where it would take the place of Jeopardy! Masters. It will air again in full on This Week on Sunday.But the Beast has learned that behind the scenes there is deep concern inside ABC News’ upper echelons that Stephanopolous could get as little as 15 minutes to conduct what should be a searching interview offering insight into the president’s mental state. Gretchen Whitmer: I Won’t Run, but Joe Biden Has Lost Michigan After Debate

GettyGretchen Whitmer, the Michigan governor seen as one of the Democrats’ best prospects to replace Joe Biden, has ruled out running, Politico reported Monday.But the swing state leader delivered a damning message to the campaign aide whom she called, the outlet’s Jonathan Martin reported, saying that the president’s debate performance will cost him Michigan.Whitmer called the campaign chair, Jen O’Malley Dillon Friday, after a day of frenzied speculation that she would be a frontrunner if Biden could be persuaded to quit.
