Neil Gaiman exits Good Omens, which will wrap up with a 90-minute TV movie

According to Deadline’s sources, pre-production will resume without Gaimain, who had served as showrunner, writer, and executive producer. Narrativia’s Rob Wilkins, representative of the estate of Good Omens co-creator Terry Pratchett, will continue to executive produce, while Josh Cole, head of comedy for BBC Studios, will also come on board. A new writer will be brought on to “finish up the work” and convert the final season of the series into one 90-minute episode.

Shooting on the episode is expected to begin in early 2025, so it’s possible that fans could get that closure within the year.
