Letter: This Pomeranian-sized bullfrog has nothing to fear

Miranda Green concludes her recent commentary with a comparison of work and eating frogs (“Frogs, toads and the poetic road to productivity”, Opinion, November 21).

After developing a taste for their delicious legs, I killed a lot of frogs as a wandering youth. But wandering gave way to wondering. Now, a Pomeranian-sized bullfrog is living in my yard’s drainage pipe.

Thanksgiving is today but my little green friend has nothing to fear.
