Might the government do itself a favour and not follow the line taken by Boris Johnson! In today’s FT there is a large photograph of Rishi Sunak with his health secretary Steve Barclay in the north of England at a “photo-op” Johnson-style with their sleeves rolled up. Do we ever see serious politicians, except Joe Biden from time to time, rolling up their sleeves for a “photo-op”? Gentlemen, roll your sleeves down, stay at your desk and come up with some serious proposals to right the listing ship of state.
